Denmark

For more than 25 years, Michael worked across actuarial, financial, and statistical disciplines to improve the outcome of pensions. After completing his PhDin theoretical physics, Michael held positions with Nordea Markets (Denmark), ATP (Denmark), United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (US) and as advisor to World Economic Forum, National Bank of Kazakhstan and Railpen (UK).

Michael currently teaches at university and works as an independent advisor to pension funds on all aspects of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plan design: asset allocation, liability hedging, risk management, indexation policy, and product design.
