ICPM Research Paper Featured in The Economist:  ” Putting it all on red. The rules encourage public-sector pension plans to take more risk “

The July 30th online issue of the Economist, Buttonwood discusses ICPM sponsored research by Aleksandar Andonov (Erasmus University Rotterdam), Martijn Cremers (University of Notre Dame) and Rob Bauer (Maastricht University). The research, recently presented at the ICPM 2016 Spring Discussion Forum in Boston, shows that American public pension funds take a more aggressive approach to risk than private pension funds or public funds in other parts of the world.
